December 2011, MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Hi Everyone! Greetings!
I pray all is well with you, my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! I am so excited to report on what has been going on in ministry since my last September newsletter.
First, I would like to thank all my supporters who have been praying for me and also giving monetarily as you have been a great part of bringing people into the ministry of missions! Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37, 38. The laborers are being sent out as the Lord is preparing His people over in the West to go forth to the nations! The Lord is the One who calls and sends, and that is why I am so very grateful to be chosen for the task of not just informing individuals, pastors, church bodies about the heart of Jesus, but also being in a position to share with them the opportunities the Lord has presented for them to take part in being involved in the GREAT COMMISSION! You, my co-laborers, are aiding in the process of sending more laborers into the various fields to help disciple, train, and allow the Lord to work the greatest miracle of all, which is salvation globally!
I have just returned from Tijuana, Mexico on an outreach in which 15 people from the Philadelphia area went. There were 12 individuals from New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Delaware in which were recruited on my team. We would meet very frequently together to pray for one another, the leaders in Mexico and for Ambassadors Fellowship. We also would fellowship very frequently together as a team. Fellowship is very important in the body of Christ as it builds relationships, and brings a unity which helps us to minister together more effectively. Even though the individuals came from the same area, everyone did not know one another, and through our meetings several strong relationships were built. We moved in such a level of unity not just in preparation for the outreach, but as a team as a whole once in Tijuana, Mexico. There were people from California, Chicago, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and Colorado who joined together to bring God Glory through evangelization, worship, prayer, teachings, encouragement, testimonies, and just the fellowship and love of the body of Christ to the people of Tijuana, Mexico. We saw healings, miracles, salvations and several of the Mexicans had some very encouraging testimonies as to how they were encouraged with us coming in and evangelizing with them. They were encouraged to continue on evangelizing without fear in their own country to their own people, oh PRAISE JESUS! Damage was done to the kingdom of satan and the Kingdom of God was extended by more souls being won for His GLORY!
It is so amazing how the Lord will use those from different backgrounds, different churches and upbringings to minister together in such unity and love and be so effective in doing it! The main ingredient is LOVE, and having the same mind! The apostles did it as they waited before the Lord for the Holy Spirit to come, and they continued to be in oneness as we see in the book of Acts. The Lord added to the church DAILY! To God be ALL the Glory!
Another awesome wonder of the Lord is that with the 12 people from the team the Lord had me take in to Tijuana, Mexico desire to return back to Mexico and even other nations. About half of them desire to go deeper into missions being more open to where the Lord has placed them in regards to international missions. Some individuals desire to go into full time ministry concerning international missions! Isn’t God excellent?!! Yes HE IS! This outreach was just the beginning for many. The Lord brought to my attention, that the number of recruits was 12, just like the 12 disciples! These individuals I believe will turn the world upside down all over the world for Jesus! They are just getting their feet wet, as about 10 of them have never been to the international field before in their life! Now, that they have had a taste, they desire more!
In addition to the recruitment for Tijuana, Mexico, I have been informing individuals and the body of Christ about the powerful outreaches to Benin, West Africa 2012 since I returned to Philadelphia in late May, early June 2011. Now, I believe the Lord for a team of 30 people for August 2011! There are several individuals who have come on board, and as we speak I am finalizing the first batch of individuals this week. Several individuals who went to Mexico are coming to Benin. I am seeing how the Lord has opened doors that no man can shut! Some individuals are just waiting for the opportunity and need to be exposed, and the Lord is strategically leading me to these individuals and church bodies. He is the one WHO does it! He gets ALL the GLORY in this; I just listen to what He tells me to do. Obedience is very important in our walk with the Lord; the Lord loves an obedient servant!
Before I went to Benin, the Lord put a burden on my heart to start a women’s fellowship/ministry composed of several young women being discipled by other young women. The primary focus for the development of the women would be in the area of character, the Father’s love, and knowing who they are in Christ. The desire for the women to know their purpose and specific assignment the Lord has given them while on this earth was a burden as well. I knew the Lord was going to bring in women who were called in some way to the international field as well. There was much the Lord was going to do in this as I followed His leading. It broke my heart that many young women are not adequately discipled, and do not have other women to look at who are living examples of discipline, purity, and love. There are so many issues that keep women away from really trusting other women that I have seen. I just believe discipleship is so important to body of Christ.
The Lord put on my heart to help build up a core group of women to eventually be able to bring in other young women to be discipled. Upon my return to the States my heart was once again burdened to begin this women’s ministry/discipleship. I presented the vision to my leaders, and they approved. Now, for the last 6 months, we have had consistent prayer meetings once a week, along with a fellowship at the end of every month. At these fellowships, one of the young ladies is chosen to lead a bible study, exhortation, with everything being referenced out of the Word of God. It’s important that as we share, things line up with the Word of God. We encourage one another and pray for one another consistently building the relationship and trust with one another to be able to minister to one another effectively. Sometimes, I introduce a ministerial video or something in which the ladies can be blessed from. The Lord through this ministry of about 6 or 7 women is sending 3 or 4 of them to Benin, West Africa next year in August 2012! Some of the women have gotten some deliverance and freedom in several areas and also revelation of their assignment on this earth from the Lord since we began! The Lord is also beginning to add to the group as well! Several of these women are already in ministry, and are powerful women of God that just need to be in an environment with other like-minded women in which they can receive encouragement, discipleship, and freedom from whatever would keep them from fulfilling the assignment the Lord has purposed them on this earth to do! I see the Lord doing just this! I pray one day, I will be able to bring a group of young women so strong in the Lord to the international field to minister to the women in the various places around the world! The Lord’s Will be done!
As you can see, the Lord is doing so much in informing, preparing, discipling, and training His people to go forth into not only Benin, West Africa next year, but to the Nations! I thank you all once again for your consistent prayer and monetary support. Please, know that being over here in the States is very important in preparing people to minister to the international field they are called too. Before I return to Benin, I must continue to do the work the Lord has me to do here to the fullness, as it is an international work for the Lord and aids the work already going on in Benin, West Africa, as it did in Tijuana, Mexico. May the Lord Himself bless you for your obedience towards His ministry in giving. I love you all! Blessings!
Additional Points of Prayer:
•Pray that laborers would harvest the field in Benin in regards to the Praise, Prayer, and Jubilee Fest in 2012. We believe to send in teams in April 2012, August 2012, and September 2012 for this specific assignment in changing the atmosphere of that whole region in Benin! YES!
•My heart is for the youth/young adults, children and women. I desire for all to KNOW the Father’s Heart!
•Pray for Missionary Magna James, senior missionary here in Benin, West Africa and Jean, who is from Benin, and also works with AF Benin.
•Pray for my physical and spiritual health while I am in the States.
•Please pray against any hindrances and attacks of the enemy against me, my family, Ambassadors Fellowship and the ministry in Benin.
•The LORD’s WILL BE DONE…HIS KINGDOM TO COME WHILE MINISTERING IN THE STATES AND ALL OVER THE WORLD!

Missionary Support is Needed to do God's Work!
Hello All,
I pray everyone is doing well. I hope you all have been receiving
my bi-monthly newsletters letting you know what I am doing while here in the
USA, before I return back to Benin. My role has changed a little bit as I am
traveling throughout the Delaware County teaching, ministering, but most
importantly recruiting and mobilizing individuals to the foreign mission field.
My focus is mainly to recruit praise and prayer teams to Benin, West Africa
next year 2012, along with mobilizing those for Tijuana, Mexico this November
2011. Mobilization and discipleship is similar to what I do on the foreign
mission field, only here the Lord is using me to inform, prepare, and train His
people on this side to effectively minister to those in these foreign countries.
I also am discipling a group of women in which more than half of them are going
into the foreign field as well. So, the Lord is not only raising up His people
to understand and know their calling and full purpose but building them up and
encouraging them in such a way that they are now able to fulfill the promise
the Lord has in their lives. It's an awesome thing to see individuals being
delivered and set free in this land to be effective in going over to other
lands! I cannot explain to all of you how important this role is the Lord has
me in right now in the body of Christ. This is helping prepare God's people not
just for the international field, but for God's calling on their lives. I have
a big heart for women and young people. When I return to Benin or anywhere the
Lord sends me, I hope to bring in young people and women to minister to the
women and young people in these countries! The people in Benin and all over
need to see this thrust of believers come forth and proclaim HIS NAME above all
others...then we will see such a revival in these lands more and more!
But, we must first be prepared before we go, and this is what the
Lord has me to do now. This preparation not only helps the people in going
over, but also aids the work that is going on internationally on the field and
also bring people from Ghana, Nigeria, and surrounding countries to get trained
at the discipleship facility in Benin, so they will be able to go forth into
their own land as well as Europe and France (In Benin, they speak French), and
proclaim Jesus and continue to raise up others for Christ. We will also be
training missionaries from the USA in this discipleship center as well. So by
preparing people on this end, it helps facilitate the work on the other
end...the international field. This still requires just as much support as it
did to keep me in Benin, West Africa while I was there. It is all full time
ministry with no paycheck, no health plan...just God giving His people an
opportunity to be apart by sowing into this ministry faithfully. I live in
complete faith and dependency on God's provision. He said He will provide, and
I trust Him and in His provision. He chooses to use each one of you. As you
give, know that every person that is trained in the USA, every person discipled,
every individual trained over in Benin, and Mexico, every soul saved, delivered
and set free ... please know that YOU are all apart of that...The Great
Commission...thats what it is! We work together to aid in building the Kingdom
of God. I definitely need your prayers as well, please continue to pray for me
as it is much of a challenge, but also so rewarding to be chosen for this task.
Please pray about giving faithfully into my ministry, $25.00,
$50.00, $100.00, $200.00 or more monthly, or a onetime donation. I pray the
Lord places on your heart to give monthly no matter the amount. The Lord will
bless you for your giving. You are more blessed when you give than when you
receive. As you give, the Lord will fill you with fullness and overabundance
not just financially but spiritually and physically as well. I am a living
witness of that! I have attached my most recent newsletter for you to review
again as well. I hope to be able to meet with each of you or talk to you all
personally very soon.

September 2011, MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Hi Everyone! Greetings!
I pray all is well with you, my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! I have been back in the States for several months now, continuing in the area of recruiting/mobilizing and training others in the areas of missions. This all consist of recruiting individuals for the short term outreach to Tijuana, Mexico and for Benin, West Africa 2012. I am so blessed by the Lord with the opportunities and individuals He has given for me to meet and encourage in the area of international missions.
The recruitment/mobilization process is a process of encouraging, and training individuals in an area of ministry at which some have never given any thought. I am coming into contact with young people and individuals alike who have not been given the opportunity or been properly educated in the ministry of international missions. The Lord has allowed me to be able to inform individuals, and also churches and challenge them in what God has called them to do as a believer for the Kingdom of God. It’s a true blessing to see individuals gain a greater heart for souls, and desire for God to use them in whatever way He chooses to win souls for His Glory. I am finding that many people in the church are seeking God’s face and just need to be given the true understanding of what Matt. 28:19,20 actually means and how it pertains to their personal life and walk with Jesus.
Tijuana, Mexico is our Thanksgiving Crusade, and a short term outreach in which many individuals and young people go who have never before been abroad to do mission work. It is a 5 day crusade and introduces them to the international mission field. We do neighborhood and church centered evangelism, and minister through worship, dance, mime, and video ministry to bring the light of Christ and encourage the Mexican people. Right now I am recruiting and training individuals in Philadelphia to go into Tijuana, Mexico this November 2011. Right now, there is a group of individuals from the Philadelphia, Delaware, and New Jersey area at which I am working with to go to Mexico this year.
Benin, West Africa is a land the Lord has definitely set His heart towards. I am also recruiting for our Praise, Prayer and Jubilee Fest! We are looking to bring in Worship and Prayer teams into Benin in 3 phases next year, 2012. The Lord has given Ambassadors Fellowship the vision of developing a West African ministry base in Benin, which is central to reaching the 25 French speaking nations on Africa’s continent. This base will train church leaders in discipleship, help transform their congregations into disciples of Jesus Christ and to create hundreds of disciple makers who will go out as Christ ambassadors, taking the Good News to regions of the world where Jesus is not known. So, with this vision I will be helping to recruit/mobilize worship teams and prayers in the Philadelphia area to go forth and help to prepare the land for this vision to be completed. We desire to bring these teams in to change the atmosphere of that whole region in Benin, West Africa! This is an awesome opportunity for those whom the Lord has selected to go forth and usher in the Glory of God in Benin, West Africa!
Lastly, I am also visiting several churches and presenting the Samaritan Card to churches and individuals now raising support for short term field ministry. The Samaritan Card is a way of getting the body of Christ to get involved in helping to build God’s Kingdom abroad. The church chooses a project to support internationally and collectively takes a certain amount of cards and sells the cards by presenting the vision of the project. The cards are only $20.00 and $15.00 of the Card goes to the project the Church chooses. This helps get the body of believers engaged in not only raising support for some much needed projects that are going on internationally, such as training facilities, economic development projects such as farm land, transportation and more.
I help train the individuals in the church in coming together as a group and praying for these projects and work together to accomplish Kingdom purposes. This is a great opportunity for God’s people to gain more of a heart for souls all over the world, by praying for these nations and projects they are becoming involved in. They come to understand that what they are committing to is helping to minister to individuals all over the world!
As my time in Benin, West Africa was a blessing, so is my time back home in the United States. The opportunity to be a catalyst used to bring people into the field and inform the church correctly of God’s heart and call to win souls all over the world and come into complete relationship with their Maker is unique. I am truly having a blast seeing the Lord educate, encourage, and motivate others for His Glory!
In Matthew 9:37 it states, “…The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few”; The Lord has called us all to be apart in some way. He has called me in this season, before going back to Benin, to help bring in the labourers to the field of Benin, and several other fields as well. This area of ministry requires the same amount of support as does being overseas. So, please partner with me to help bring labourers into the field of ministry. Let us grasp a hold of the value of going forth in these last days, and partner together financially, prayerfully, and physically to reveal God’s Heart to the nations!

MISSIONS TO THE HIDDEN NATIONS… Reaching the Unreached
FROM JOY MCCOLLUM…

June 2011, MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Hello Everyone! Greetings!
As many of you may know I have been called back to the States for a season after 6 months in Benin, West Africa. I first arrived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a brief time before coming back home to Philadelphia just this past week. I will be working in the area of recruiting individuals (both short and long term) for missions. I will also be engaged in special missions training program while in the States to further my effectiveness in the Lord on the foreign field.
My time in Benin, West Africa was a blessing! The Lord presented such an opportunity for me in Benin. It is such a privilege and honor to be sent by the Lord across the world to help to reveal the Father’s heart to His people. I am at awe at how God will use an individual like me in such an undeserved position and way to show His love to others! I do not deserve this opportunity but I am thankful to Him who is the Center of all things and life itself!
In Benin, the Lord enabled me to work with kids grades 2nd-5th and teach them English. I had so much fun with them! While I was learning the French language they were learning English! During this time in Benin we also were serving the Pastors of the 4-Square Denomination that we are ministering too, as well as having the opportunity to encourage some youth in Benin.
In time I was able to become more accustomed to the culture, language, and ministry in Benin. I was taking French lessons twice a week, continuing in biblical studies of the Word, and aiding and assisting senior missionary Magna James. The Lord had afforded me the opportunity to work with some young children at a Christian school during Christmas time, teaching them some songs and a dance for their Christmas program. We were also involved in aiding another Christmas program for many “neighborhood” kids. In addition, we traveled to several churches and ministered in surrounding areas.
In addition to those opportunities, the work with the children continued in teaching English and being able to encourage and minister to several youths as well as build relationships with several of the Village Pastor’s wives and their families. It was great how the Lord opened doors for me to be able to also establish some relationships with several young women in Benin as well. The Lord is definitely moving in Benin, West Africa!
I am excited about what the future holds for in Benin, West Africa! In all of what the Lord is doing in Benin, most importantly I was able to learn the importance of servant hood and obedience as unto the Lord. Our respect, humility and obedience to the Lord in serving others opens up the door for ministry.
I am still in training as a missionary and I have so much more to learn. I am enjoying the process as “God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence” I Cor. 1:27-29. Praise the Lord, God Almighty!
The most important thing is character building and our relationship with the Lord. If our relationship with the Lord is not together then how can we then tell others about Him? My desire is to KNOW the LORD and every aspect of Him, and that everyone else comes to know who He is as well. I thank the Lord and I am very grateful to be chosen for this task; for many are called, but few are chosen. The Lord has also chosen you all as well in some way to be apart of extending His Kingdom to the nations! I am so encouraged and blessed to have so many that were with me here in Benin, even if your physical bodies were in the USA! I am also thankful that as I am in the States our journey continues, for the part the Lord has for me here in recruitment is just as important. Your support and your prayers help continue to aid in sending those forth to aid in the ministry in Benin. There is much work to be done, with minimal workers that we have so far, but, the Lord is incredibly magnificent and faithfuI!
The vast majority of Benin has not been reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of the people here need to be encouraged and filled with the love of Christ that will expel all fear! Freedom has come to Benin, West Africa, Praise Jesus!! While in the States I will also be helping to bring together Worship, prayer, and intercessory teams to go forth at different times next year, 2012. We call this thrust, the Praise, Prayer, and Jubilee Fest! We are planning to establish a ministry center base in Benin, and want to change the spiritual atmosphere in the region and lift up the name of Jesus, so all who enter will be radically changed soldiers for the Kingdom of God!!!
I will update my joyncharity.blogspot.com, along with facebook! Please check out the sites. I hope to also meet with each of you personally during my time in the States. I love you all! I am praying for all of you as well! May the Lord thoroughly bless you for being a part of advancing His Kingdom to those who are lost in darkness. Please review the prayer request below. BLESSINGS!

BLESSINGS!
Additional Points of Prayer:
• Pray that laborers would harvest the field in Benin in regards to the Praise, Prayer, and Jubilee Fest in 2012. We are believing to send in teams in May 2012, July 2012, and September 2012 for this specific assignment in changing the atmosphere of that whole region in Benin! YES!

FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER!
Hello Everyone! Benin, West Africa!!
Greetings from Benin, and a belated HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! It has been a little over 3 months that I have been here in here in Benin, West Africa, and we are continuing on here in the work the Lord has for this nation.
During my brief time here in Benin I have been becoming accustomed to the culture, language, and ministry here in AF Benin. I have been taking French lessons twice a week, continuing in biblical studies of the Word, and aiding and assisting senior missionary Magna James. The Lord has afforded me the opportunity to work with some young children at a Christian school during Christmas time, teaching them some songs and a dance for their Christmas program. We were also involved in aiding another Christmas program for many “neighborhood” kids. In addition, we have traveled to several churches and ministered in surrounding areas.
Now, in my next phase here in Benin, West Africa as a Missionary Apprentice I will be assisting in several office tasks and responsibilities. I will be developing my skills to be of a better overall asset to the ministry here in AF Benin. I will also be assisting in AF Youth Projects, helping to organize youth training programs, assist in recruiting short-termers when necessary here in Benin, teach English at the school for the children, and continuing to learn the French language and culture here in Benin! Whewww! YES, that’s a lot! Along, with continuing on in biblical studies, history of missions, and my primary focus which is to be of prayer support and help to Magna James in whatever way she sees fit. As I stated before there is much work to be done here in Benin, West Africa, and I am excited to be able to serve the people here in Benin!

The Foursquare gospel church in Benin has a vision to reach 10% of the people in Benin with the Gospel. Ambassadors Fellowship has been asked to partner with the denomination to reach that vision. Ambassadors Fellowship is in the process of developing a discipleship training center in Benin to train leaders and missionaries for the work of the kingdom. The work has already begun in Benin and we believe God will send more laborers.
I will be sure to update my joyncharity.blogspot.com, along with facebook! I love you all! I am praying for all of you as well!
